Nicolas Joly, the winemaker of La coulée de Serrant is one of the precursors of biodynamic wine culture in France. His books and methods inspired and still inspire lots of winemakers all over the world

Besides, the wine estate is absolutely awesome and his wines are memorable

Here you can enjoy a glass of fabulous white wines while seated in the middle of the wineyards, in front of the sheeps and with a scenic view on the castle and Loire valley

Unfortunately La coulée de Serrant is a bit too far to organise day trips from Paris. But if you plan to visit France and especially the Anjou area, this estate definitly worths a visit

Dear Friends,

It had been a long time since I didn't give you some news...

Some of you are knowing it already...As it was no more possible to share my passions with you we decided my wife and I to bring our 4 kids for a year outside France to visit the world...🌍and sometimes beautiful vineyards 🍇(see pictures). We left France in July 2021 and traveled through Europe, Northern America and are now enjoying beautiful Colombia...

For sure one of my question during that time had been the future of Paris Wine Day Tours. These 10 years had been an incredible journey but very tiredness physically and emotionally. What to do ?😊

Very often things happen when you don't expect them...

It's what happened to me some weeks ago when I met in Mexico by marvelous chance a french family touring the world like us. After some informal talked we understood that we had the same passion for this marvelous world of wines. We spent an entire night to discuss about our common interests in wines and the evidence appeared, he was the one who could be the new JB😉, and much more I saw on him the same desire to change his life like I did 10 years ago...

By the way I'm more than happy to inform you officially we will restart soon when the sanitary situation will allow it and when my successor, Brice, will get all the legal french patents to restart. For sure I will not be far...

I will come back to you shortly to introduce your new guide and owner...

I don't forget you... 😊. You're still in my thoughts and souvenirs. The situation is evolving little by little and the end of the tunnel is not so far away. I hope your families and friends are going well and not touched by the thing😒.

Some of the greatest moments I had in my wines lover life had been to share some precious times with winemakers such as Alphonse Mellot senior, Gerard Grebet, André Dezat, Henry d’Assay, Pierre Prieur or the Chandon family. Despite their awareness and success they always gave me more than I was expected. Whatever your knowledge about wines, your age or condition they will share with you their time and passion. They give you the feeling that you’re a part of a family, their family. The family of the wine lovers without boundaries.

By creating Paris Wine Day Tours some years ago it’s what

I wanted to offer to my guests. Maybe we will not have the time to spend hours with them but the time we will spend would be the most authentic and friendly as possible. Enjoying a glass of wine is always better with friends. It’s really the atmosphere I tried to give to our wine tours. It could be in the Champagne region, in Burgundy or the Center Loire-Valley the spirit is always the same at Paris Wine Day Tours.

As much as we can we will try to let you have unusual experiences during the tours. Why not tasting some wines directly from the barrels? Pruning the grapes during harvests time! Bottling some nice wines with the winemaker! Hearing the bubbles in an oak barrel during the fermentation time! It’s all about what I love to do myself.
