In Memoriam: Colm McLoughlin

It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Colm McLoughlin, a true pioneer in the travel retail industry and a cherished friend of the TFWA Association. Colm’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication transformed into a global benchmark, inspiring countless professionals in our field.
Throughout his illustrious career, Colm was a steadfast supporter of TFWA contributing significantly to our mission and initiatives. His wisdom, generosity, and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on the entire travel retail community.
We extend our deepest condolences to Colm’s much loved wife Breeda, his wider family, and to the entire Dubai Duty Free team. His legacy will continue to inspire us. Rest in peace, Colm. You will be greatly missed.

As the sun sets on another excellent TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, we would like to thank all attendees for making the event was such a great success, and express our sincere gratitude to all of our partners and sponsors for their support. We’re honoured to have been able to provide the platform for industry friends and colleagues to learn, network and conduct business face-to-face. We wish all who attended a safe journey home, and look forward to seeing you here in Cannes once again in 2023.

Today marks the last day of TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, and it certainly ended on a high. Delegates had a final chance to explore the range of innovations and ideas on display in the exhibition halls and via TFWA i.lab, and took full advantage of the many opportunities to network with industry peers throughout the day. Meanwhile, we look forward to reconnecting with industry peers once again at next month’s MEADFA in Bahrain and at TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore in May.

It’s been another busy day here at the Palais des Festivals for TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. Alongside exploring the exhibitor halls and networking with industry friends and colleagues, attendees were also introduced to the technological solutions allowing brands and retailers to engage with travellers in new ways at the Innovation in Action workshop. #TFWALive #Cannes #Innovation
