The bells of Vincent’s Church at Auvers.
I could not love this more. The view from my bedroom.
My alarm, in Auvers-sur-Oise, is the daily ringing of the bells, promptly at 8am. This is the back of the church Van Gogh painted.
The morning rain added to the moodiness of the break of day.
Seeing the staircase shown in the final 20 seconds always reminds me of the movie Lust for Life when Kirk Douglas portrayed Vincent, walked these steps - just as the master must have in his final days.
29 Avenue Rapp in the 7th
A most elaborate Art Nouveau creation!
Think they’d mind if I brought my sketch pad & started drawing people?
Place du Tertre in Montmartre. The Artists square has no tent in the winter but artists are busy as ever.
Do I know Croissants are made of butter? Oui.
Mais, je suis Américain! I must have butter on my butter.

Imagine
You could be there
This is what it's like....with the special entry permissions we have for you on My Art Trip!
Check this out! Continuing my obsession with all things Vincent van Gogh, I've just helped create this life-sized, walk-in, photo-op replica of Vincent's "Bedroom in Arles" for our local Art Walk; in Salida, CO.
I'm president of the Salida Council for the Arts and a Chair of Salida Art Walk; and so stinkin' proud of this room!

Paris, only?
Wondering if anyone would be interested in a hosted trip to Paris.
After our My Art Trip 'Monet Immersion' trip this year, my curiosity and I stayed in Paris. It was a time of exploration, relaxation, reflection, and taking time to get to know this city on a deeper level. It was more rewarding than I can tell you!
