D’abord merci d’être venu hier, l’Afterwork était genial et on espère que vous vous êtes autant éclaté que nous !
Notre stand sera à l’école demain, jeudi 22 octobre, et après demain, vendredi 23 octobre, pour collecter vos habits. C’est donc temps pour vous de regarder attentivement dans votre garde-robe et de nous apporter toutes les fringues que vous voulez échanger☺. En échange, on vous donnera des TOKENS (jetons) qui nous vous le rappellerons sera votre monnaie d’échange durant l’événement final le 4 décembre prochain. N’hésitez pas à nous contacter si vous avez d’autres questions.
Jeudi nous nous trouverons à droite de l’amphi et vendredi à gauche. On vous attend avec impatience !!!!!!!!!!!!

First thank you for coming by yesterday, the Afterwork party was awesome and we hope you all guys enjoyed it as much as we did !
Our stand will be at school collecting your clothes on Thurday 22nd and Friday 23 th of October. It is time for you to look carefully into your wardrobe and bring everything you want to swap! In exchange you will get tokens that you will use for our final event on the 4th of December. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

On Thursday we will be on the right side of the amphi and on Friday on the left one. We are waiting for you!

A LITTLE STORY NEVER KILLED NOBODY

Before becoming Swap My Look, our company was just an idea that brewed in the minds of our CEO Polina Podoplelova Knudsen, whom without this idea might never have emerged.

Polina, originally from Russia, has always felt passionately about the world of fashion. Like any true fashionista, Polinas true passion and knowledge was in depth: she always stays up to date with all the current fashion shows, launches of new collections, store openings and any new designer that has emerged she knew about. She enjoyed reading all magazines related to fashion and specialized blogs that allowed her to develop a beautiful taste and sense of personal style. But as a student there was always a budget problem.

The ready-to-wear mainstream brands all looked the same. To differentiate ourselves from other purchases, we must continuously renew our wardrobe over seasons and time. This requires a certain budget to stay up to date, a budget Polina didn't have. She then decided to start sharing her clothes with her friends, giving her the opportunity to change her look easily and with no cost. Knowing that a girl never has enough clothes (yes even though her wardrobe may be full) having the luxury to change her wardrobe all the time without a budget, is revolutionary.

Is it possible to collaborate her passion for clothing with a reduced budget idea allowing girls to reinvent and renew their style whenever they want? It is if you to create a "barter community." The idea was bold but vague. Polina never imagined that this could become a reality in which it indeed turn out to be.

ESCE is an international business school in Paris which hosts every year a large number of foreign students (not including the French students). ESCE enabled SwapLook to be born this year. With the help of a dozen girls from different backgrounds, who do not speak the same language, coming together united with a common passion. The idea of Polina was transformed; created and then stabilized into a concrete project. A project for which the entire team of Swap My Look - Polina, Charmaine, Blandine, both Jeannes, Agathe, Mahaut, Lorraine, Heloïse, Marcela, Dominika and Stella - are working diligently and persistently, preserving through barriers, to create this dream.

Look good feels good. And SwapLook wants you to feel good too.
