Let us tell you about a man named Sam who packed his bags and moved to Paris! While his french roommate, Carl, was off doing typical Parisian things - wearing berets, eating baguettes, and most importantly, going to the theatre, Sam’s entertainment possibilities were limited since the beautiful French language

is rather difficult to master. Carl wanted to include his English speaking friend in his favourite Parisian activities. And so was born Theatre in Paris: rendering France's vibrant, Broadway-quality theatre scene accessible to everyone!

C’est l’histoire d’un Australien nommé Sam qui s’installe à Paris. Pendant que son colocataire, Carl, profite de la vie parisienne – boit du vin, mange des baguettes, mais surtout, se rend au théâtre – les possibilités de divertissement de Sam sont limitées par la barrière de la langue. De cette expérience naît l’idée de rendre les spectacles vivants français accessible à tous ! Nous nous sommes donnés pour priorité d’enrichir les sorties spectacle pour les transformer en véritables expériences : visites des coulisses, dîner ou coupe de champagne, rencontre avec les artistes, master-classes, etc. Et comme nous voulons que le plus grand nombre puisse en profiter, notre site est disponible en français et en anglais, avant l’ajout d’autres langues à l’avenir !

Sam was an Australian, and like many of us, delighted by all things "Parisian" since he was a little kid. So like any good 'francophile' would, he packed his bags and moved to Paris! He even moved in with a French roommate named Carl. While Carl was off doing typical Parisian things- drinking wine, eating baguettes, wearing berets, and most importantly, going to the theatre, Sam was stuck in Australian bars, with Australian people, and drinking Australian beer like most tourists and expats, since the beautiful French language is rather difficult to master. Luckily, Carl, contrary to what you might believe, is a welcoming, open-minded French person! He wanted to include his English speaking friend in his favourite Parisian activities. Thus was born the dream of Theatre in Paris: rendering France's vibrant, Broadway-quality theatre scene accessible to everyone!
