Delicious Paris : Walking Tours in The Marais, Paris’ most precious district. Delicious Paris offers private walking tours in a friendly and intimate atmosphere for groups of 2 to 6 people. I wish to discern my walking tours from the usual guided tour. In fact, I like to perceive them more as a "Promenade", or a stroll, through the Marais. My Marais tours are perfect for those for whom it’s their

Delicious Paris offers private walking tours in a friendly and intimate atmosphere for very small groups of 2 to 6 people. In fact, I like to perceive them more as a « Promenade », or a stroll, through the Marais. Here’s to give you an idea of what the tour includes:

• A wander through Paris’ most beautiful district
• Stories and anecdotes
• Exploration of the French art of living & Parisian way of life
• Private exquisite wine and cheese tasting in an emblematic place

In taking you around, it’s important for me not only to tell you about France’s rich history and culture but also to create personal ties with those we have the pleasure to welcome. In this sense, I wish for you to be perceived as my friends, rather than simply as tourists. My walking tours are especially fitting for those who are new to Paris, as well as for those who are eager to go off Paris’ beaten track. You will be in company of a reliable friend who will make numerous suggestions as to where to go and what to see, whether you’re looking for good restaurants, gorgeous boutiques, or sites of interest. My walking tours are intended to take place in peace and serenity, as well as at one’s own pace. You will be invited to discover Parisian architecture, France’s inescapable cuisine, and the true way of life of modern Parisians. More importantly, you will be invited to taste the best French cheeses and wines amongst a wide selection of local products, in an old bistro open exclusively for you, in which the owner will share with great pleasure the best hidden secrets of France’s wine and cheese traditions. It is needless to say that I will adapt the walking tour, or « Promenade » to your physical capacities and wishes. If you are a Francophile, if you are in love with « Frenchness », if you wish to avoid the typical Parisian tourist route and instead explore the French art of living through the chef d’œuvres of the French architecture and the Parisian elite’s family mansions, if you feel like learning a little about the French, their history, culture, and traditions as well as the real meanings of such expressions as « art de vivre« , « art de table »…. which will then give you a better understanding of the French mindset, and if, finally, along this journey, you feel like having a gourmet feast, then Delicious Paris is perfect for you.
