L’Open has at last opened this weekend. We have not visited yet but friends who have, tell us it’s definitely an improvement on the previous establishment and well worth a try. 😊

Took the Tourist Train into Pontivy, had a picnic in a pergola and returned home. A very pleasant way to spend a few hours. 😎

The tourist train is now on track. 🚂 Anyone visiting Cosquer Cottage on a Wednesday or Sunday during the holiday season, can just walk down the hill to enjoy a ride. Tickets can be purchased at the village tourist office, also only a short walk from the cottage. 😁

I was given a couple of sprigs of lily-of-the-valley at the supermarket checkout today, along with other shoppers. I asked a friend of the significance, as he knows about these things. Apparently it’s a May Day tradition in France to give out these flowers. It’s supposed to bring you joy and clean your spirt. I feel blessed. 😊

Not quite as good as last years 9.8 but given this years challenges and the vastly reduced amount of time I was able to host, I am quite pleased with this award.
