Our new gite (holiday rental) is available for booking by the week from 1 June. We call it Cygnes et Cigognes (Swans and Storks).
Situated in Liesville sur Douve, home of the famous Bar de l'Anguille which overhangs the river Douve, and 10 minutes drive from Sainte Mère Eglise.

There are 4 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 room with three single beds), 2 shower rooms with WC, sitting/dining room and a well-equipped kitchen, parking and outside space (it's starting to be a garden, but has a way to go!).

We are not yet booked for D-Day80!

We wake up this morning to strong winds preparing the arrival of Dennis who will come storming through tomorrow!

All battened down here at the Studio expecting 120kph (that's nearly 80mph) winds this evening/night. The wind is whistling round the house already. Luckily we are expecting calmer weather for our guests next weekend! No picture this time!

A big thank you to everyone who has liked this new page. The studio was my mother's 'atelier' for her ceramics, wood carving and painting and is decorated with her art. It is a great place to enjoy our area which includes St. Vaast La Hougue, voted 'Village Préféré de Français' 2019. Not quite the sparkling view of Isle de Tatihou today.
