This unique landscape was formed by the old iron mines and later the ochre quarry. These days, this multicoloured site is the home of 3 wonderful hiking trails, horse trail riding and an adventure course. And the best part is that all of that is right at the other side of the street. For the people, who like to take trip, there is an abundance of authentic villages to visit, most of those recognized by "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France". The town of apt is well worth the effort, particularly on Saturdays, when it holds one of the largest and most beautiful markets in the world.
