Late autumn is a fabulous time to visit the Saint Emilion area. The weather is mild, and the autumn colours create a beautiful backdrop for a leisurely tour through the vineyards and Saint Emilion itself.
Being an all-year-round tourist destination, the majority of chateaux and restaurants of Saint Emilion remain open but are obviously less busy now than the summer months for those wanting a more relaxed, personal wine tour experience.
