Today James aged 80, visited and we spent time whilst I did his pedicure and manicure, he doesn't like too much fancy stuff (his words) just the basics...we talked about some difficulties he's experienced and of the old days, and his work in the steel works as an electrical engineer. I talked about how my job is precious...how I get to spend such quality time with my clients, how that feels to me. About my first professional training with the British Red Cross. He talked about the old trade unions and we shared memories of strikes, poverty, and picket lines. Me a young girl, him on the front line. He'd forgotten his walking stick, I noticed that when he got out of the car. I said I have one you can use. As he left I watched him walk with my granny's old stick and I said Thank you to the universe 🙏

Lara Anstey propose une journée de yoga et de relaxation sur un site sacré très spécial au milieu des arbres centenaires.
Vous serez accueillis par Lara & Karyn du Petit Bo***ir de la Besse, avec des rafraîchissements, avant de descendre dans les bois pour une promenade énergisante jusqu'au site sacré des arbres centenaires, où nous ferons notre première pratique de yoga du jour.
Nous reviendrons pour déjeuner et nous détendre, avant notre pratique de yin yoga à l'ombre du chêne centenaire dans le jardin du Petit Bo***ir de La Besse.
Apportez vos maillots de bain si vous avez envie de piquer la tête dans la piscine.
Hébergement disponible pour ceux qui souhaitent faire une mini escapade estivale !

Lara Anstey offers a day of yoga and relaxation on a very special sacred site amongst ancient trees.
You'll be greeted by Lara & Karyn from Le Petit Bo***ir de la Besse, with refreshments, before heading down into the woods for an energising walk to the sacred site of ancient trees, where we'll have our first yoga practice of the day.
We'll return for lunch and relaxation, before our yin yoga practice in the shade of the ancient oak tree in the garden of Le Petit Bo***ir de La Besse.
Bring your swimming costumes if you fancy a dip in the pool.
Accommodation available for those looking for a mini summer getaway!

We are celebrating our 6th year of continuous Super Host status 😊 and it's my birthday
We have had a lovely lunch at l'estaminet du chateau, a walk, and then a fabulous visit to at Nexon to watch some of the children from St Mathieu College perform and they were amazing

Nous célébrons notre 6ème année de statut continu de Super Hôte 😊 et c'est mon anniversaire.
Nous avons eu un délicieux déjeuner à l'estaminet du château, une promenade, et ensuite une fabuleuse visite à à Nexon pour voir certains enfants du collège St Mathieu se produire et ils étaient incroyables.
