This quiet spot at the bottom of our garden is a firm favourite with our guests.
The perfect place to watch the sun rise with a morning coffee, or to relax with a glass of something cold in the evening.
Whichever way you prefer it, the views won’t disappoint.

Our swimming pool may not be the newest, deepest or the biggest but according to our guests it’s one of the cleanest!

We love the great feedback and comments about how clean our pool is and the fact that they really notice it.

Steve is obsessive with the pool duties and hand vacuums the pool every morning along with manually checking all of the water chemistry to ensure that it’s crystal clear, safe and ready to enjoy.

With us it’s all of the small details that make for an epic stay!

The craziness of summer is drawing to an end and we’re making the most of a couple of days guest free. ( first time since June)
Busy catching up on the list of jobs, stacking wood, fixing making and sorting out the garden coupled with a few trips to the Déchetterie. Before finally finding some evening time to make to most of the views and the Hot tub. And relax!

We’ve had a busy few weeks at Gites Et Velos we took the decision to close for three weeks to carry out some pretty full on renovations.
Two new kitchens and an updated bathroom later.
We’re ready to welcome our next guests back.

What else is on offer ?!

We have over two acres of private secure gardens with a large variety of fruit trees, great for a pick your own breakfast or lunch!

Children’s play area with climbing wall, slide and swings. Football goal and outdoor games.

Our approved secure outdoor pool is a firm favorite for all of our guests with plenty of space, inflatables and loungers.

The games room is a great all year round feature, somewhere to cool off in the summer months or cozy up and watch a movie by the wood burner during the winter.

It’s complete with a full size pool table, table football and 150inch screen and projector with high speed Wi-Fi and chrome cast.

Last but not least, is our latest addition a luxury wood fired hot tub with both hydro and massage jets.

This is already proving to be a hit with our guest closing out the day watching the sun go down and gazing up at the stars.

La Grande Maison was formally the principle farmhouse dating back well over 200 years.
At over 120m2 in now offers spacious accommodation over three floors, it’s ideally suited for large families, groups of friends or families wanting to share a holiday together.
It has a large double bedroom on the second floor complete with full en-suite bathroom.
The first floor comprises of one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, with a large family bathroom, with walk in shower and full size bath.
On the ground floor there’s a entrance hall with washroom / wc.
Modern open plan kitchen, living room complete with log burner, dining room and a separate utility area.
Outside it has its own private garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ and full access to all of the shared facilities including seasonal outdoor pool, extensive gardens, play area and games room.
Our guests have absolutely loved the huge social space that this house offers!

La Maison de La Vigne……Beautifully framed by our vine it is both characterful and offers adaptable living.
It consists of a large king size bedroom on the top floor, with a twin and a double bedroom complete with family bathroom on the middle floor.
Lots of quirky features including a Juliette balcony, show off its age and history forming part of a former barn.
Open plan kitchen, diner and living space along with a toilet and shower room complete the ground floor.
A private garden offer views towards the pool, communal garden and rolling hills in the distance.

La petite Maison was our final project and we’re super excited to have just finished it.
Two large double bedrooms, one with En-suite, large family bathroom with corner bath, open plan living, dining and kitchen, private garden with BBQ. Shared access to our swimming pool, games room and large garden.

We love Mondays! So fortunate to have the market in Mirepoix so close to us, with an abundance of fresh local produce it really is a food lovers delight.
Just be sure to get down there early as it’s super busy!

Here We recently had the opportunity to rescue some chickens that had served their purpose at the chicken farm.

How could we refuse…..we spent the last few days preparing an enclosed secure run in a nice shady part of the garden and re purposing an old coup.

On the 30 minute drive home we were rewarded with our first egg!

Once they’re settled in we’re looking forward to allowing them out to forage around our fruit trees!
