WORKING HOLIDAYS 2025

As with previous years we are looking for additional willing and able happy people to help us get Le Chevrefeuille and Cook Dordogne spick-and-span for our 2025 season.

We are needing people between APRIL 15th and APRIL 29th 2025. Pick any days between these dates.

We have lots to do and jobs may include getting our gardens looking great, repairing stuff, painting things, repointing the odd stone wall, cleaning the Gîtes, setting up the pool and redesigning our cookery school kitchens etc.

In return for your hard work we offer you lovely accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine and beverages, free gloves and hopefully a few giggles.

We will also get you out and about for some great walks and sightseeing trips in this beautiful region of France.

We can also help you with transfers from airports and train stations if needed.

Hope you will consider joining us. If you have any questions please drop me a line and if you’d like to talk to previous helpers about their own experience with us that’s also fine….. just give me a few days so I can send them some cash and a threatening letter 😉🤣.

A very happy week!

Having read some excellent reviews I decided to book Le Chevrefeuille for a week in August of 2024, for my family of 4. It did not disappoint! The self-catering accomodation was perfect for our needs - our girls were aged 10 and 12 at that time and the twin bedroom was perfect for them. The bedroom ceiling fans were very welcome as it was pretty hot that week! But with the lovely, and good sized, pool in the garden we could easily cool off during the day.
We loved the extra outdoor kitchen, the space, the privacy, the peace! My husband took advantage of a half-day cookery course on-site which he thoroughly enjoyed and the location is great - plenty to see and do within 20 to 30 mins drive away. The local, small town of Saint Cyprien is charming, with good sized supermarkets and a lovely street market.
Sara and Ian live at Le Chevrefeuille so are available to guide and help, with lots of tips on places to visit, things to do and the best markets, but without any intrusion.
In summary - if you're looking for an easy, comfortable, well maintained and equipped self-catering break in this lovely part of France, with friends or family (or both!) you cannot go wrong with a stay here. We loved it and would not hesitate to recommend. We hope one day to head back :o)
