A very happy week!

Having read some excellent reviews I decided to book Le Chevrefeuille for a week in August of 2024, for my family of 4. It did not disappoint! The self-catering accomodation was perfect for our needs - our girls were aged 10 and 12 at that time and the twin bedroom was perfect for them. The bedroom ceiling fans were very welcome as it was pretty hot that week! But with the lovely, and good sized, pool in the garden we could easily cool off during the day.
We loved the extra outdoor kitchen, the space, the privacy, the peace! My husband took advantage of a half-day cookery course on-site which he thoroughly enjoyed and the location is great - plenty to see and do within 20 to 30 mins drive away. The local, small town of Saint Cyprien is charming, with good sized supermarkets and a lovely street market.
Sara and Ian live at Le Chevrefeuille so are available to guide and help, with lots of tips on places to visit, things to do and the best markets, but without any intrusion.
In summary - if you're looking for an easy, comfortable, well maintained and equipped self-catering break in this lovely part of France, with friends or family (or both!) you cannot go wrong with a stay here. We loved it and would not hesitate to recommend. We hope one day to head back :o)

Liam and Steph’s fairytale wedding comes to life! French château weddings are always a huge WOW factor but Chateau de Rouffilla was outstandingly beautiful 🤩

As we enter the most beautiful month of the year here in the Dordogne Valley we wanted to remind you that we still have some availability at our farmhouse. Both at our Guesthouse and in our self catering cottages.

Our little shop in reception is proving a great success. Amazing walnut oil, superb chestnut honey, the best beer, wild cèpe powder, succulent confit duck, foie gras and gésiers. All produced within 5k of Le Chevrefeuille.😋
