The cottage sleeps six plus a child in a travel cot, has a large south facing sun terrace ideal for al fresco dining. Private driveway with ample parking. La Petite Maison is a two bedroom gite which has been newly renovated for the 2014 holiday season. It sleeps four plus a travel cot. Both cottages share the heated pool and large terrace with sun loungers, chairs and parasols. Saint Geniès has its own boulangerie, charcuterie, tabac which does excellent coffee, restaurant, grocery and local produce store. There is also in the village riding facilities, a childrens' play area and a 12th century church and fortified bell-tower dating from the 14th century. It also has a weekly Sunday morning market and a Wednesday evening market July and August both with local farmers produce. Sarlat is the most famous town in the region and one of the most renowned and visited in France. Beautifully restored a few kilometres north of the River Dordogne. The old town, dating from both medieval and renaissance times is a pleasure to visit.
