Ce week-end, du samedi 8 au lundi 10 avril, c'est le Festival de la Gastronomie à Saint-Léonard-des-Bois. Venez à la rencontre de nombreux vignerons et producteurs de toutes les régions de France qui seront ravis de vous faire découvrir leurs produits ! 🍷

Samedi de 15h à 19h, dimanche et lundi de 10h à 19h.

About the gite and location....

Le Jarrier Gite opened in 2008 and we are pleased that a large percentage of our guests return each year. Our Trip Advisor rating is Excellent 5/5 based on 50+ reviews and in 2017 2018, and now 2019 we have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor.

We renovated what was a stable with cobbled floor, to become a holiday home for up to 4 people. A double bedroom on the 1st floor and a 2nd bedroom with bunk beds on the ground floor. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee machine etc The gite has a private solar heated above ground pool 3.4m (seasonal approx. end May to September), a private garden & parking.

The views from the conservatory are of the surrounding countryside and the large garden. There is a patio with a dining table, loungers and comfy seating area directly off the south facing conservatory and there is also an open barn with games and a sheltered dining table.

Although we are in a rural setting, there are many tourist attractions and activities within a short drive. Nearest supermarket approx. 10 mins drive, nearest town approx 15 mins. A 10 minute drive from us is the lake with beach in the forest of Sille. There are many activities here such as pedalos, tree climbing, cycle hire, paddle surfing, a boat and also a mini train trip around the lake in the season, pony rides, walking tracks around the lake and forest restaurants and so much more.....
