Book a stay in our cosy studio
Welcome to La Porcherie - our beautiful rural retreat in the gorgeous French wine region.
Our cosy studio apartment is perfect for couples and single travellers who want to enjoy a quiet and peaceful break in the countryside.
The apartment has been extensively converted by us from it’s original incarnation as a pig house, and still retains much of it’s original character and charm. You’ll also have use of the beautiful swimming pool which is directly next to the apartment. Full B&B services or a romantic evening meal can be provided for an extra cost, and well-behaved pets are also welcome!
We live in the main house on site, and will provide you with all the information for a perfect stay. We’re located just ten minutes’ drive from the nearest town with plenty of traditional French shops, a supermarket and stunning chateaux. During the summer months the town has a weekly evening market with eating, dancing and drinking into the night.
