A quiet week but we love to ride! Early & chilly start this morning with a ride to Agen to replace the iPhone that decided not to work anymore after an apple software update!! Made a day of it with a visit to the Agen aqueduct and bike dealers nearby. Clear blue skies and plenty of sunshine. 🏍️👍🏍️. Looked at the Yamaha MT7 and could be with us for 2025!!

Day 4 Pyrenees tour: We leave the Pyrenees for the final time this year. We've enjoyed fabulous tours this year and met many wonderful and fun people! It was a perfect morning to leave and ride over the Tourmalet. Sad, but the Perfect Pyrenees will never disappoint! We're already looking forward to May 2025 to start another season riding these naturally beautiful mountains and National Parks. Pyrenees Day 2: A bright start with scenic riding through the National Park. Coffee stop at the unusually quiet Luz-Saint-Sauveur! This town is normally buzzing but October it change from the summer hiking and riding season to the winter ski option which normally starts in November. October offers great riding on traffic free roads. Looking forward to tomorrow! 🙂🏍🙂

This weeks 8-day Pyrenees tour and what a start! Superb ride to the Col d'Aspin and Tourmalet leaving Caday Rouge. Pleasant weather with plenty of sun but a little chilly and cloudy on the Tourmalet at 2115 meters! 🙂🏍😒

Cloudy but dry and a pleasant visit to the Sanctuary of Lourdes. Cauterets and the lively waterfalls were great to see on route. The Pyrenees never fails to impress!! 🏍️🏍️🏍️

Magnificent start to the Pyrenees tour with more wonderful people. Surprisingly we didn’t get wet, but it remained overcast for most of the 320 Kilometres. Col d’Aspin and Tourmalet impressed again! The skies open after arriving at our hotel! 😊😊😊

Yesterdays Tour de France going through Madiran a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south-western France. It is the centre of a wine-producing area and well worth visiting. These cyclist are flying up this incline and makes it impressive to watch even though it's for a few minutes! The atmosphere and build-up is fun and attracts many!
