Our Story

Much as we enjoyed living and working in London, we long dreamed of a different way of living. So in 2007 we bought a plot of land in Samoëns, and figured that we’d build a ski chalet and move to the Alps. It took 8 years for the plan to come together, but the close of 2015 saw us finally sell up in the UK and take the plunge to living full time in France. We switched commuting for growing veg, and haven’t looked back since. We believe in the restorative power of the mountains. Massive, majestic, magical mountains. Every morning we get up and look out of the window, and still our breathe is taken away with just how awesome they are!

In the winter we host our guests personally, preparing the meals, and providing a full ski-concierge services. In the summer we generally have self-catered guests who want to get out and explore the hikes and bike rides the area has to offer. The Alps are a wonderful antidote to the hustle and bustle of busy modern life.
