Our French Village House for rent
Our French Village House - Talloires is available for rent. The metre-thick walls, sturdy exposed wooden beams and stone garden walls leave no doubt that this is a house that has a history and has welcomed many generations of families. Set in the middle of the village and with great access to all amenities it nonetheless has been decorated with an eye to retaining elements of the past but providing comfort in the present. Light-filled all year round, warm in winter and cool in summer it offers a double bedroom with direct access to the garden and separate shower and toilet on the ground floor, an open dining area and morning coffee corner on the first floor plus a separate loungeroom which leads out to the terrace and the enclosed back garden. The kitchen, a shower room and a separate toilet are also on this level. The three other bedrooms (one queen and two with two single beds in each) are located on the top floor along with a third bathroom (under the eaves) and a separate toilet. You can choose to dine at either the long wooden table in the dining area inside or the outside table on the terrace, both intended to favour long lunches and festive dinners. A BBQ and some additional outdoor seating has been provided for you to relax and enjoy the mountain vista on offer.
