Kicking in this week with a shameless promotion of what I consider the best « soft » soft boot on the market. Some people like stiff boots I like them super soft. New season - New Gear?

I just got the Skirner Jacket from in Sweden it’s made from bio-mass balanced polyamide in a tough 3-layer Cutan® construction. It’s completely waterproof with fully taped seams. It has a soft feel, lightweight stretchy quiet fabric, and is specifically designed for Splitboard & Ski mountaineering. The shoulders and lower body are reinforced with Duracoat to protect against wear caused by backpacks and harnesses. It’s designed for extra layering, more volume underlayers, and a longer length for the added protection you need when traveling in the backcountry. It features a slanted zipper to avoid chin abrasions or make room for a real man’s beard, an adjustable hood that fits snugly with or without a helmet, and comes equipped with convenient hand pockets and extra loops for attachments. It has two big chest pockets that are big enough to fit your skins or smartphone and if you are like me, you will love that this jacket has ZERO velcro bands anywhere. But a smart tightening strap on your wrists for perfect fit. I love it!

This jacket is top shelf high performance and low impact on the environment. My highest recommendation❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
