Throwback to AK in April 2024 just a few weeks ago. I know I suck at using GoPro’s and that’s ok haha. So here’s a boring non edited, no music added to one of only 2 runs I managed to film on my old @gopro 7During my 6 weeks in Alaska. Most of the time I do bring the camera but I never use it. And when I do try to use it it’s either out of battery or memory. Anyways The snow conditions on this run was variable but still some steep fun with a great view of my super nice @klattermusen pants. First day of March started with 15-20cm of fresh cold powder on upper mountain but day turned in to a whiteout day very fast. So we improvised and climbed a little and had a fun day.

Let’s talk about helmets. This season I’ve been wearing a helmet every day. I made it a rule to NEVER question myself if I need a helmet today. This way I just put it on everyday. No debate...I probably don’t look cool, BUT does it matter? I’ve had too many friends that have had serious head trauma and life changing injuries, even death following falls and accidents in the mountains.
