How it all began...
I am an English artisan with 40 years of experience in renovation, encompassing all building trades. I started my working life as an electrician but, from a young age, spent much of my spare time helping local tradesmen where I picked up all the skills. Renovation has become my passion and recently I have been working on a personal project in France, the conversion of a large barn. This has been an amazing experience and, through it, I have gained knowledge of French building rules and regulations.
I am now resident in France, fully registered and insured. I offer a wide range of skills and am available for both large and small projects. Although based in the Dordogne close to Ribérac, I will consider work further afield.
I work closely with a French registered architect who offers the full architectural service ranging from pre-purchase surveys, feasibility studies & planning consent through to full project management. I also work with a French qualified and registered electrician. Both are English but speak fluent French.
