This morning we woke up with this beautiful view, we had a busy day looking for the pot of gold, unfortunately we did not found it. But at the end of the day it turned out that we already live in our paradise.

De herfst heeft de wijngaarden in een gouden kleed gehuld. De druiven 🍇 zijn rijp en zoet, klaar om te worden omgetoverd tot heerlijke wijn 🍷. De druiven hangen zwaar aan de ranken, een beloning voor maanden van zorgvuldige teelt. Terwijl de moderne plukmachine zijn werk doet, soms met een bijna mechanische precisie, kiezen andere wijnboeren nog steeds voor de traditionele handoogst. Met liefde en aandacht worden de trossen zorgvuldig van de rank gescheiden. Beide methodes hebben hun charme en leveren unieke wijnen op. Of het nu met de hand of met een machine is, de oogst is altijd een feestje!

Autumn has dressed the vineyards in a golden robe. The grapes 🍇 are ripe and sweet, ready to be transformed into delicious wine 🍷. The grapes hang heavy on the vines, a reward for months of careful cultivation. While the modern harvesting machine does its job, sometimes with almost mechanical precision, other winegrowers still opt for the traditional hand harvest. With love and attention, the bunches are carefully separated from the vine. Both methods have their charm and produce unique wines. Whether it is by hand or by machine, the harvest is always a party!

open monument day 22/09/24 - L'Eglise Notre Dame de Tresques

The church originated from the castle chapel. On the top of the Tresques hill, in the 11th century, stood the castle of Sabran and an oratory chapel. When the chapel of St. Martin de Jussan was abandoned, the oratory became a parish church. In the 14th century, it was enlarged and embellished with a bell tower in the shape of a square tower. In the 15th century, Philippe de Combes had a new nave built after having part of the medieval ramparts demolished.

During the Wars of Religion, it was damaged four times. The French Revolution desecrated it. It was not until 1870 that numerous repairs began until 1892, when the parish church was rebuilt in the Neo-Romanesque style, with the exception of the eastern part, which was preserved.
