Our hard work has paid off. I spent last week dressing the cottage and I love it. I hope others will as well.

"You won't go wrong staying in the lovely Seashells, the view of the harbour from the main bedroom is awesome and the location next to the port and perfect. Yes there is a steep walk up to the car park but we managed to get a space by the ferry to Fowey which really helped".

If beautiful views, mucking about in a river, lovely walks, pubs within walking distance and then returning to a cosy cottage is your thing then I cannot recommend Sea Shells enough. It was clean, well equipped and for us perfectly situated near two pubs, near enough but far enough away if the village is busy. Despite being a snug cottage, comfortably suited two adults and two children, there are sufficient facilities to properly cook, a decent fridge freezer and a microwave. There was also a great area to hang wetsuits, wet gear and we even managed to stow a 15ft paddle board without blocking access. I would recommend staying here and will hopefully stay again.

Today we have walked the Hall walk from Polruan to Boddinick (3 miles), stopped for lunch, went across to Fowey on the car ferry, walked through Fowey and caught the foot ferry back to Polruan. A marvelous day was had by all.

Today we made our way to the cottage via Bodmin Moor. It was quite foggy. Thankfully we could still see the cows in the road as well as the Woolly Moos In the field. Let the holiday begin.
