Friday Thoughts 💭 Is it too early to be thinking about Easter🤔

My local Tesco’s doesn’t seem to think so as it’s full of tempting chocolate offers🍫 🤦‍♀️ Each year, the Easter 🍫comes out earlier 😳

Whilst I don’t think we need to panic buy Easter eggs, the same can’t be said for holidays! If you are wanting to ✈️☀️for Easter you may be surprised to know that there is limited availability 😬and booking now is advisable ✔️ Typically I book our holidays a year in advance 👌Our Easter 25 holiday was booked February 24 😱There are still some great options and free child places too 🤩

Time to pause and reflect on 2024 🙌

I would like to start by saying a MASSIVE thank you to my everyone who has supported my business both by booking holidays with me and referring me onto your friends, it means a lot 👌Thank you 😘

My BIG business achievements were being awarded a Silver Best Businesswomen Award for Best Customer Service & a Gold Shining Star Award 🏆by Businesswomen UnLtd 🥂

This year, as a family we were so fortunate to start the year in Nice and went on to have fantastic holidays in Montenegro & Morocco 😎

I also enjoyed a fantastic long weekend away in Barcelona with my best friend for her 50th which coincided nicely with my 8th business birthday 🎂🎈

The hardest personal challenge was taking part in a sponsored sleep out at Watford Stadium to raise awareness and money for several local homeless charities🥶. Along with my very good friend we raised £1.7k and collectively smashed the £50k target 🤩💰

To clients currently overseas I hope you are have the best time celebrating 🥳

In the run up to what is the busiest time in the travel industry, I am re sharing an old post for those new to my page 👋to understand a bit more about how I work😊

Have you ever used a mortgage adviser🤔

There are lots of different types. Some work for one bank and others work with all different providers.

Those that work for a specific Bank can only sell you their products. They can give you great advice and information, but ONLY from the limited range they sell. They won’t be able to tell you that the product that might suit you best is offered by a competitor.

An independent mortgage adviser will be able to look at all the mortgages available and help you choose the best without being obliged to pick from one particular company. They may even have access to specialist lenders that you haven't even heard of.

I am exactly like those independent mortgage advisers. I don’t work for one holiday provider and I’m not encouraged to steer you towards certain holidays, like many high street agents.

I work with over 450 different suppliers. Some are popular household names and others are ones you’ve never heard of. I can choose which suppliers I use to help you get the perfect holiday 👌

The only person I have to answer to is you 🫵

In addition, I provide a personal service. I am readily available to deal with issues should they arise. With me, you don’t need to wait on hold to a call centre for hours to speak to me.

Often people struggle to think straight in a crisis so it can also be helpful to have a perspective outside of the situation. I will hold your hand every step of the way until the situation has been resolved.

What kind of getaway is on your Christmas wish list 🤔

Mine would be to have a Christmas overseas🙏 I am still torn whether my dream Christmas away would be on a beach🏝 having a snowy break ☃️staying in a city with lots of Christmas markets or experiencing a multi centre tour..

🔙📣Throwback Thursday🔙📣

This time 4 years ago, the world was a very different place. We were just about to go into lock down 3 😷

Meanwhile, the travel addict in me was desperate for a winter sun fix 🤦‍♀️🤣 these photo Memories below are a reminder how I’ll jump through hoops for any opportunity for some winter sunshine 😉

Rewind to October 20, working with the ever changing traffic light system when considering where we could ✈️to.. the Canary Islands had just come off the red list so I booked us a mini winter sunshine break to Tenerife😎

No sooner had I booked the holiday, the rules were changing .. everyone aged 6 and above would need to do a private covid test to fly, costly but fine.. 🙄

A week before travel, the rules changed again, we would all need to quarantine when we came home, not so fine.. We had planned to spend Christmas with my sister🤔

Desperate for winter sunshine, I re booked us to Maderia. The entry rules were a bit better, a form was to be completed and only adults needed to test to get in. No quarantine was needed once home 👏

48 hours before our ✈️ we went for our covid test & drove the tests to the lab in London as we didn’t want to risk getting caught up in Christmas post delays🙄

Our results came back negative and off we flew to Maderia👌

24 hours into our holiday, I receive a phone call to advise our flight back to Stansted is cancelled as the area is now in Tier 4 🙄 We agree to extend our holiday at no extra cost and fly back a day later than planned to Leeds.

36 hours later, Covid is spiralling at home, I can see in horror that one by one, all countries are closing their borders to England 😳cue panic as I hadn’t foreseen this scenario, it was a few days before Christmas😳

48 hours into the holiday, whilst on a Catamaran trip watching dolphins, I receive a call to say that our flight home to Leeds is cancelled 🤦‍♀️

I later received another call to say an empty plane was allowed to fly to Maderia to repatriate fellow Brits, we would now be flying home a day earlier than planned🙄

So 72 hours into our holiday we were flying back to Birmingham 🙄our car was at Stansted.. 🤦‍♀️

Home for a lockdown Christmas 🎄

Was it worth it.. would I do it all again.. absolutely YES 😂

I have many clients who also jumped similar hoops for their travels too during these crazy times, with me tense virtually by their side to navigate..

Words cannot describe how thankful I am that the traffic light system & Tier systems are no more.. forms have been scrapped and no requirements to test.. PHEW.. long may this last 🙏

It’s the last morning of school for my eldest, my youngest breaks up Friday & they are off until the 7th January 😳on the plus a break from being the 🚕

🌅Happy Friday 🌅 As an early morning person, my favourite way to start the day is to watch the sun rise 💕 If only this were my current view 🌅 1 of my lovely clients who knows how much I love a sun rise kindly shared ⬇️ They are currently in Paphos 🇨🇾 Its been such a busy week with client departures / returns with another busy weekend ahead 🙌The airports are busy so please allow plenty of time, I recommend a minimum of 3 hours before ✈️ Here’s hoping for those of us not away we see a bit more ☀️🙏

I love when my holiday is fast approaching and I can start saying this time tomorrow I’ll be on a plane.. Anyone else Counting down the hours until they trade their to-do list for a boarding pass🤔 If you haven't a holiday in the diary & want to change that so you can start your holiday countdown, please get in touch I would love to help 😎

Loving the sound of the gentle waves on the beach this morning on my morning stroll to nowhere 🙌

Two lovely ladies are currently living their best life in Abu Dhabi 🥰 On another grey wet day where I’m feeling extra meh having injured myself at the gym 🤦‍♀️this has most definitely lifted my spirits 🙌 Yesterday the ladies kept me updated with amazing photos and videos on a day trip to Dubai 🇦🇪to include views from the top of the Burj Khalifa and a fabulous evening boat trip with dancing water fountains ⛲️💕 Just when I thought the updates couldn’t top yesterday, this video came through 🙌 the ladies enjoying a 🚁over Abu Dhabi 💕 Holiday Goals 🚁☀️🏝️
