What a fabulous way to brighten up this grey cold & wet Friday, meeting up with one of my amazing clients for lunch and a holiday debrief 🤩

It’s so helpful getting the holiday lowdown and I love to do this with all clients either in person or over the phone 🙌

The couple started their holiday on safari at the Lalibela Game Reserve, close to Port Elizabeth & then followed the Garden Route to Cape Town. Some of their incredible photos ⬇️

3 weeks today, 28th February, Myself & my very good friend Victoria will be taking part again in the Dreams United sponsored sleepout🥶😴

In some respects I feel this time will be harder as I now have the knowledge of how uncomfortable and challenging it will be.

My strategy last time was to stay up all night drinking coffee not realising this was not an option until we got there🤦‍♀️From 10pm to 6am there are no facilities to get a hot drink. Lights go out as you find your spot to lay down! I am also aware now how uncomfortable laying on hard concrete is and how cold get it gets as the night goes on🥶Last time from midnight onwards there was torrential rain that was so loud in addition to being soooooo cold so it’s no surprise I didn’t sleep . Oh and not forgetting the discomfort when you get so cold from what you are wearing feels damp and then how much your body is left aching from tensing to keep warm…

The experience gave me a whole new level of respect for those that find themselves homeless 😕

So why sign up again?

We are fortunate to have the choice to take part, those who sleep rough night after night have no choice. In these current freezing temperatures my heart really goes out to everyone sleeping rough 💔

We are raising funds to help combat Homelessness in Watford and the surrounding districts and to raise awareness 🙏

Funds are going to ONE YMCA, Watford FC's Community Sports & Education Trust, New Hope, Herts Young Homeless and DENS 💰

£4.98 will provide one person with a hot meal, a shower, clean clothes and free access to laundry facilities

£20 can provide a wellbeing session for one individual – a session that will maintain or improve mental health

£30 could pay for food and essentials for a young person for a week

£100 could pay for one home truths session for up to 30 young People

Hello February 💕

Just taking a moment to reflect on an amazing January for holiday bookings 🙌

Thank you to everyone that’s booked a holiday with me or recommended me to a friend or family member, it’s hugely appreciated 😘

With the end of January means the end to many of the January sales 😬Instead of ✈️☀️I’ll be mostly booking up some lovely holidays 😍to distract myself from the 🥶☔️

Always a WhatsApp away for my clients📱
Clients have access to my personal mobile..

Booking with me doesn’t compare to booking yourself online 💻 Booking online, the computer won’t pause and say are you sure, this isn’t the best time to go or did you see on trip advisor etc..

I genuinely care about all of my clients and won’t just book anything. Whilst I don’t just book 5*luxury hotels I don’t tend to book leading price accommodation especially if the reviews aren’t good.

Whilst it may sound crazy, I’ve turned away quite a number of potential bookings 😱It may not be my holiday but I want my clients to love what I’m booking for them.

I don’t just book your holiday, I provide a personal service and remain a point of contact throughout. Any questions, I’m always on hand to answer leading up to the holiday ✅and just a WhatsApp away if clients are overseas and need me 📱 If there is a blip, I’ll do my best to get a speedy resolution 🪄

WhatsApp is a great tool for me to also send reminders and updates too.. you wouldn’t get this from booking a holiday yourself online.

I’m genuinely interested in my clients holidays. I love being sent updates, photos, I want to know they’ve arrived and are happy, clients are super lovely at doing this 🥰

I pride myself on going that extra mile, personal service is my priority. If you are after that concierge experience then my service is for you 😊

Eeek, January is almost over, hooray! 👏🎉💃

That does however mean many of the fantastic sales are almost over too 😳

January is notorious for being a busy time in travel ✈️🌏🗺️Price and availability is changing at speed.. my top tip is NOT to look until your ready to book.. this will avoid disappointment if you see the price increase or the holiday no longer available 😬

🇦🇺Holiday Goals, Australia for Christmas & New Year ☀️🏏🦘🇦🇺

Earlier in the week I booked one lovely couple an amazing multi centre holiday to Australia 🙌

The couple start their holiday in Adelaide, planning to watch the 🏏and have a trip booked to Kangaroo Island 🦘Their next stop Melbourne for Christmas 🎄🎅🏻and planning to spend Boxing Day at the 🏏 Their final stop, Sydney for New Year 🎇🎆

It’s always advisable to book a trip like this early, it’s a peak time to travel and with the Ashes too ✈️will only get more costly.

⚠️Warning, this post is heavy⚠️

👣 15 years ago today, 21 weeks into my pregnancy, Melody was born asleep 💔

This is NOT a post for sympathy, it’s a post to raise awareness and break the stigma around baby loss 🙏

I was in labour for 27 hours 😢I cannot put into words how horrific this was but you can imagine💔

I was signed off work for 2 weeks 😳

I didn’t know how I could go back to work / continue living as ‘normal’ and with my head all over the place my immediate thought was I need to get away. So I went and booked up lots of holidays in the hope it would provide me with strength to get through the very dark days that followed, the funeral and the immediate months leading up to my due date 💔

It might sound dramatic but I truly believe that travel saved my life.

In the space of 4 months we went to Tenerife, Kerala, Marrakech and went out with a bang in Vegas, my due date. Thankfully my employers were very supportive & I was in a position financially where I could do this.

Whilst the holidays couldn’t take away the pain they helped distract on what would’ve been a significant date where I couldn’t face work / continuing as ‘normal’ Each trip kept me going until the next one.

Travel has always been my love, my therapy and is a huge part of my life 🌎

Today I chose to get a tattoo to represent this ⬇️

Sending virtual ((hugs)) to all those that have suffered a baby loss too. Please know that I’m here if you’ve been through something similar and need to chat 😘

Do you have a visible or hidden disability that can just the thought of travelling ✈️feel daunting 🤔

Many of you will know that both of my boys are Neurodiverse.

When you have a hidden disability, or any disability for that matter, travelling can be a challenge.

If you’ve followed my page for a while you’ll know we like to go away a lot as I’m a bit of a travel addict 😉

There are many ways to make travelling less stressful but the information is not widely known 🤔

I work with many customers who have special needs / hidden and visible disabilities and it’s my aim to ensure their holidays go without a hitch 🙏

Below are just a few of the details I take care of:

Fast track security / no queuing
Special assistance at the airport
Priority boarding
🦽🦼Wheelchairs can be used until you board the aircraft or an ambi lift can be organised if needed
🚗 I can organise transfers that include adapted cars
🏠 Access friendly accommodation
🏊‍♀️Access friendly pools

🇹🇭Winter Sun Holiday Goals, Thailand 🇹🇭

Yesterday I met with 3 lovely ladies to book their amazing multi centre Thailand Holiday 🤩whilst the flights are not yet out I was able to get guaranteed out of date range ✈️👏

This time next year they will be in Bangkok for a few nights before ✈️down to Phuket 🏝️They will spend a few nights at the Marina Phuket Resort located on the Southern tip of Karon Beach 🏝️in a gorgeous jungle setting. From here they’ll then have a private transfer 🚕to Khao Lak and relax at the Kalima Resort & Villas 🙌

💕Sunday Smiles💕

I absolutely ❤️turning holiday dreams into a reality 🪄and then the GREATEST joy is when clients are on their dream holiday and I receive WhatsApp messages like “The BEST holiday of our lives” along with incredible photos 🥰

Here’s a little taster of what they have been enjoying over the last 7 days 🇫🇮☃️

❄️Gentle guided snow-shoe walk (minus 25 degrees🥶) where they got the most incredible display of the Northern Lights🌌🙏
❄️Visited the Lainio Snow Village & Ice Bar
❄️Took a scenic snowmobile sleigh ride to include a wilderness dinner
❄️Visited to a Reindeer farm
❄️Husky Sleigh ride
❄️Snowmobile Safari

❄️ They stayed in Levi at the 4*Levi Resort & Spa 🇫🇮

Levi offers a wide range of excellent restaurants and cosy bars 🤩You can also Ski or snowboard on floodlit slopes🚡⛷️

🇹🇭Holiday Goals,Thailand 🇹🇭

Earlier in the week one of my lovely clients got in touch to say she would like to take her niece to Thailand this time next year 🥰

A couple of years ago I booked this lovely client a tailor made tour to Peru, a milestone birthday treat for her sister and her to enjoy together 🇵🇪

She had seen a variety of group tours online but whilst the places they were visiting appealed, travelling as a group didn’t.

Whilst flights aren’t yet out, I was able to work with a supplier who can book guaranteed out of date range✈️and last night booked them a tailor made holiday for the 2 of them 👏A great mix of sight seeing with guides and time to relax and enjoy time together unplanned.

They will be starting their adventure in Bangkok, private tours to include the floating market and the city are included. After a few nights they will be taking a flight to Chiang Mai. Here they will enjoy a private walking tour of the old town😊An ethical encounter at an elephant sanctuary is also included.The last few days of their holiday will be relaxing on the beach in Phuket 🏝️

On the plus, loving my ice scraper that I made for clients Xmas 19 presents.. kept one back for me and it’s still going strong 👏

The family have been booking their holidays with me since 2018 and have ticked off some incredible destinations in that time 🌏🗺️

Yesterday I booked their next amazing adventure. The family will be heading to Canada this Summer. They will be incorporating Niagra, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec, Montreal 🇨🇦

💰The Beachcomber 30% off accommodation in Mauritius is back until the 31st January 💰

I was lucky to visit Mauritius with Beachcomber Holidays 🇲🇺with a number of colleagues back in 2017🍹

The island boasts fantastic beaches 🏝waterfalls, safari parks, giant tortoises 🐢the people were super friendly 🥰and the Beachcomber hotels we got to stay in were fabulous ✔️

I can’t recommend the island highly enough and it’s a fantastic destination for families 👌

The Beachcomber hotels include loads of land and water sports 👏- water skiing, sailing, snorkelling, SUP, kayaks, tennis…. 🧘‍♀️🤾🤿

You might be surprised to learn that Mauritius can often be more affordable and better value than Europe in July & August 😱

🌅Happy Friday 🌅 As an early morning person, my favourite way to start the day is to watch the sun rise 💕 If only this were my current view 🌅 1 of my lovely clients who knows how much I love a sun rise kindly shared ⬇️ They are currently in Paphos 🇨🇾 Its been such a busy week with client departures / returns with another busy weekend ahead 🙌The airports are busy so please allow plenty of time, I recommend a minimum of 3 hours before ✈️ Here’s hoping for those of us not away we see a bit more ☀️🙏

I love when my holiday is fast approaching and I can start saying this time tomorrow I’ll be on a plane.. Two lovely ladies are currently living their best life in Abu Dhabi 🥰 On another grey wet day where I’m feeling extra meh having injured myself at the gym 🤦‍♀️this has most definitely lifted my spirits 🙌 Yesterday the ladies kept me updated with amazing photos and videos on a day trip to Dubai 🇦🇪to include views from the top of the Burj Khalifa and a fabulous evening boat trip with dancing water fountains ⛲️💕 Just when I thought the updates couldn’t top yesterday, this video came through 🙌 the ladies enjoying a 🚁over Abu Dhabi 💕 Holiday Goals 🚁☀️🏝️
