A Week at Kidsize ✨️

This week we got up to lots of fun activities:

✨️ at playgroup we played outside lots - at the park, bubbles in the garden, and taking bird feed to the forest
✨️ at breakfast club at the clubhouse Rebecca made some French toast and it was super yummy!
✨️ at the school after school club Lucy made junk jellyfish with the Kidsizers, these will be used in a display at our art gallery at the end of term

And sadly we said goodbye to our Lead Practitioner Rachael, we will miss her so much but are wishing her good luck for her new job starting on Tuesday 🩷

Good luck Rachael! ⭐️❤️

Today marks the end of a Kidsize era.. Rachael’s last day with us at Kidsize and Eventsize before she starts her new job next week.
Rachael has been with us since 2018, just a year after we first started Kidsize. Her first trial shift was at our Shorts N Shades party in the summer of 2018 and it was there that her love and passion of all things parties and events began!

Under the leadership of Corinne, Rachael supported the growth of our parties and events through Kidsize and was an integral part of the creation of our sister company, Eventsize in 2023. Rachael then became the manager of Eventsize and has supported its set up over the last few years. Without Rachael, our parties and events certainly wouldn’t be where they are today! ⭐️

Rachael came on board as part of our OOSC team in October 2019 and completed her qualification with us, moving on to become lead practitioner. Rachael has supported many of our staff members over the years and I know will be missed by the children for her energetic, bubbly and caring personality! ❤️

Off on her travels for a year in 2023, Rachael continued to support both companies behind the scenes with bookings, emails, holiday club plans and social media and was back before we knew it (missing all the messy work getting the Clubhouse ready might I add 😉😂).

It has been great to have Rachael back for these last 6 months to support lots of new events at the Clubhouse and the start of our new playgroup but she has now made the decision to spread her wings from Kidsize and Eventsize to new challenges.

I’m sure those of you who know Rachael will join us in wishing her good luck in her new job and agree that she will be hugely missed by us all here at Kidsize! 🌈

A week at Kidsize!🌈❤️

This week’s highlights were…

At our Out of School Clubs and Playgroup we had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year by making lanterns, completing learning worksheets and cooking Chinese food!👏🏻🐲
Our P7’s continued showing us their responsibility skills as they made pancakes on Tuesday morning for breakfast - this was very much enjoyed by our Kidsizers and Staff!👏🏻🥞
We offered outdoor play to the park, garden and the forest at playgroup this week - this was super fun for the children to explore the natural world around us!👏🏻🌳
At our school clubs we also had lots of physical play opportunities available such as playing in the hall, having yoga mornings and using the play archery and sword sets! 👏🏻⭐️

Celebrating Chinese New Year at Playgroup!🐲🐍

This week we have introduced Chinese New Year activities to our playgroup Kidsizers to start to help them understand this celebration and different traditions! They made their very own paper snake, created a tissue paper lantern and made some lovely paintings. As well as introducing different cultures these activities can also help with the children’s concentration, creativity and coordination!👏🏻

Well done to all of our Kidsizers that were all involved in these and we can’t wait to show you all what else we are going to get up to this term!❤️
