A rare celestial phenomena will light up our dark skies this week 💫 Seen only once every few years, a total of six planets will line up closely together on one side of the sun at the same time causing a 'planetary parade'. Due to Aberdeenshire's stunningly clear dark skies, an astonishing four planets will be visible to the naked eye, with the full six spotted from a telescope! 21 January 2025 is said to be the best date to view the spectacular alignment as this is when all planets visible in the line have the smallest arc on the sky, however note this alignment is not limited to one day and may extend for many days before or after this key date.
