When you compare rent a flat in a contract or rent an Airbnb, it's could work out cheaper on airbnb
The average cost of one bedroom nice and decorated fully furnished and provide to you feel like home is +- £1500 per month compared to rent in a (contract requery deposit and credit check) it would cost you probably the same or more... An average partly furnished flat in Aberdeen cost
Rent £650 to £900 luxury+ less if you don't care where it is some areas are not so nice and if you don't care about how nice it is.
Council tax £148 to £198
Utilities £300 gas +electric over winter
TV license £15
Internet £30 plus all contracts are for 12 months not less
TV cost about £150 +isn't included on contract rent agreement you will have to buy.
Pans ports, kitchen utensils, bedding, towels etc you will.
This extras that will be lost if you not permanent living in town.
For a short term this maybe sounds expensive but truly Airbnb is a great choice to avoid any extras cost if you are in town for a very short period.
You always can find a shared house that would workout around £800 + with bills but you have not a privacy as kitchen, bathroom and living room will. Be shared with another 3 + people that may you like 😊 but may you won't 🙄

For those that think I don't know yet The minimum period of a SAT is 6 months. There is no minimum period for an assured tenancy that is not a SAT. There is no minimum initial tenancy period during which either or both parties are bound. The tenancy is an "open-ended" tenancy.

When you compare properties rates take in consideration pros and cons student paying £189 per week for an small bedroom in a massive building with everything else been sharing.
