🇬🇮 Today was a day in Gibraltar- only a 50 minute drive from San Pedro / Puerto Banus. A great place to wander about with so much rich historical and military history. Duty free shopping is a big draw for most along with a cable car ride up the rock to see the cheeky Barbary apes!

🇦🇹 SALZBURG - the last stop on this family’s Austrian adventure. A city in 2 halves divided by the Salzbach river. With the UNESCO listed medieval and baroque buildings of the old city on one side, looking across to the more modern and cosmopolitan bank opposite. Birthplace of Mozart and The Sound of Music, this city has so much to offer with its rich history, beautiful architecture, cultural events and fabulous dining. A fabulous choice for a city break 🇦🇹

🇭🇷 Split in Croatia was a welcome and ingenious pit stop for this pair between the Munich and Cologne Scotland games 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. A few calmer days with lots of sunshine, fabulous beaches and amazing food, was just what they needed to recharge before heading back to the Tartan Army chaos ! Well played you two !! ⚽️

⚽️ EURO 2024 ⚽️ Friends took a rather more cultured route to Munich via Vienna and Salzburg 🇦🇹 Travelling by rail between each city allowing a more relaxed start to their trip. Reaching Munich today - bracing themselves for the carnival atmosphere of the Tartan Army… C’mon Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🇪🇸 Magical Madrid 🇪🇸 Situated in the heart of the country, Spain’s capital city does not disappoint. For art, shopping, food or amazing architecture - it has it all! Boasting that all Madrid inhabitants have access to a green space within a 15min walk, means that it’s also a very green, walkable city with its numerous pristine parks and gardens 🌳 The Cafe / Cocktail culture also makes it the ideal place to relax in the sunshine and people watch. Definitely one of my favourite pastimes!🍹So whether it’s a couple / family or girly citybreak, you’ll find it hard not to absolutely fall in love with Magical Madrid 🇪🇸❤️

🇦🇹 Mum and I have just returned from a wonderful weekend break in Vienna 🇦🇹 Situated in the heart of Europe, Austria’s capital city boasts elegance and charm at every turn. Stunningly ornate buildings, palaces, parks and fountains makes exploring this beautiful city on foot an absolute joy. Vienna is famous for its coffee shops, delicious pasties and sacher torte too so it was easy to get distracted on our walks! 🇦🇹

🇳🇴 Tromsø - Norway - just as stunning in Winter as it is in Summer, with the majestic Arctic Cathedral always taking centre stage. The city of Tromsø is named after the island of Tromsøya, on which it stands and boasts the most Northern University in the World! One of the best places to view the Northern Lights from, so delighted that they put on a show for you too ❤️ A great way to end your Arctic adventure. Thanks for sharing your pics. Safe sailing back to Newcastle 🚢
