Last week we had a lovely group of friends and family from Germany visiting Aberdeen to attend a wedding. In full german tradition the Polterabend + BBQ was a full success! We can’t wait to see and share the getting ready images that were taken in our beautiful clovenstone lodge Garioch.

Day 289. Last week I spent a relaxing time at Clovenstone Lodges, Inverurie. We were even lucky enough to get snow (in March!) and it inspired this wee sketch of my view from Garioch Lodge.

Sepia and grey ink pens with graphite on a page torn out of an old book. For the snow I used my newly discovered Pitt Artist Pen bullet nib. Loving this new pen!

It’s been a great 2022! We added a new mini luxury lodge and loved welcoming so many guests (old and new) to clovenstone. We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings and meet familiar and new faces! Happy new year everyone!!!
