Amazing to think someone once lived there!

The smallest house in Great Britain, is located in Conwy, a walled market town in North Wales. This tiny red-painted house, built into the medieval town walls, is just 10 feet tall and only 6 feet wide, making it a popular tourist attraction.

The house was inhabited until 1900, and the last person to live there was a local fisherman named Robert Jones. Jones was an unusually tall man for such a tiny home, standing over 6 feet tall. Despite the cramped conditions, he managed to live in the house for many years, making use of the minimal space with a single room on the ground floor for living and cooking, and a cramped sleeping area in a loft above.

Jones had to move out in 1900 when the house was declared unfit for human habitation due to its size. After he left, the house was preserved as a curiosity and tourist attraction. Today, it remains a symbol of Conwy's rich history and the resilience of those who lived in such challenging conditions. Visitors can tour the house, though only a few can fit inside at once, given its tiny dimensions.
