Inverness Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit. Beautiful gardens and great coffee & cake you can eat in a greenhouse!

Next layer of delicious mud added 😋 It stuck very well to the base layer. Think all the extra straw we added to a cob mix helped, especially as the chickens have been scratching and pooping in it for a good few months 🐓Tomorrow, all going well, and it stays put, we add the final layer of freshly made straw #creativefreedom #naturalbuilding #mudlover #cob #magick

When your new Wwoofer volunteer is a talented creative and you want to bring mud into your home, get her to draw a tree on your wall! Then cook up a batch of wheat paste, with a generous sprinkling of sand and a dump of clay. 😋 Paint it onto your wall as an adhesive base layer and allow to dry. Next layer coming soon. Hope it works! 😝
