Byddwn yn cynnig teithiau gweithdy ar 21 Medi, fel rhan o'n diwrnod 'Tu ôl i'r Llenni' (ar y cyd â gŵyl 'Drysau Agored' CADW). Mae llawr y gweithdy yn dapestri sy’n newid yn barhaus, gan ein bod yn gwneud gwaith contract ar gyfer rheilffyrdd treftadaeth eraill yn rheolaidd.

Have you looked around our workshops before?

We will be offering workshop tours on 21st September, as part of our 'Behind the Scenes' day (in conjunction with the CADW 'Open Doors' festival). The workshop floor is an ever-changing tapestry, as we regularly perform contract work for other heritage railways.

Strata Florida Abbey is located approximately 3 miles from Bryn Bach. The Abbey is Latin for ' Vale of flowers'. It has stood on lush meadows beside the banks of the river Teifi since 1201 and well worth the visit if in the area.

At Bryn Bach there is Special Scientific Interest(SSI) land at the back of the house which has interesting fauna,flowers, moss and also a Marsh Frittila Butterfly which is protected. The area has been left undisturbed for over 50 years.

Here at Elan Valley we want to continue to be accessible to everyone. With the current rise in the cost of living, we have decided to introduce FREE parking for the first hour.

What’s there to do at Elan Valley in an hour?

🐶 Perfect for dog walkers, there’s even time to pop into our cafe for a cuppa
☕ Take it easy and relax in the cafe with a cuppa and cake.
🚶‍♂️ Go for a short walk in Cnwch Woods or to Caban Coch Dam, we’ve trails that take just 30 minutes.

If you decide to stay more than hour, that’s no problem, just use the parking machine to pay for the full day at just £3.
