Work continues on the 1957 Pontiac Star Chief. Discovered an unusual method of securing the manual choke cable! Cable ties and gaffer tape! Correct parts sourced from a donor carb to re-instate the correct automatic choke system.

Simple brake adjustment! Ended up with a total suspension and brake rebuild on the 1957 Pontiac Star Chief. Can you spot the obvious mistake with the new brake shoes?

First go at replacing the boot cover on the 308GTS. Really pleased with the results.

Repairing the botched trunk lock on the 1954 Buick. It had been removed and a plate welded over the original hole before about 6mm of filler was used to cover it up!

Someone spent a ton of money to get a lot of things nearly right on this 1954 Buick Super Riviera. It is going to take a whole lot more £££££s to get it done correctly.

Turns out Chrome doesn’t like fuel leaks! Little tidy up on the intake manifold on the 1954 Buick Super Riviera. Fixed the leak too!

Nice to be working on this beast again after 20 years! Built in my mums single garage and was the first car I built. Engine looks as good as when I put it together 20+ years ago.

Working through the electrics on the 190sl while at home with Covid! Even the selectable parking lights are working. Switch from left to right depending on which side of the road you park!

Had the pull the engine on the Jaguar MK2. Next job is to completely strip it down for inspection and hopefully a repair.

Jaguar MK2 engine going back together. The gasket between timing cover and block was blown so we think that is the cause of the water leak 🙏
