🎶💃 Musical Therapy Fun! 🥁🎤

Our residents had an absolute blast during today’s musical therapy session with Lisa! 🎶 They sang along, danced, and had a great time playing the drums and maracas. 🥁💃 The joy on everyone’s faces was priceless!

Music therapy is such a wonderful way to engage and uplift our residents, especially those living with dementia. It stimulates memories, improves mood, and fosters social connection. Plus, it’s a great way to encourage movement and expression!

Our amazing residents celebrated National Chopstick Day with a creative chopstick drumming activity that had everyone tapping along! 🥁✨ The residents had a blast making different rhythms, and we even used items from around the home to create unique sounds, each item added its own special tone! 🎵

The staff and residents shared many laughs, and it was a wonderful way to come together for some musical fun. A huge thank you to for providing such an engaging idea – we’ll definitely be doing this again! 🙌

Our Bistro is all set and ready to celebrate the Year of the Snake! 🐍✨ Thanks to the creativity of our wonderful residents, the tables are beautifully decorated with handmade lantern centrepieces and charming paper chain snakes. What a fantastic way to bring in the new year together with a personal touch from everyone!

🎉🥢 Chinese New Year Celebration at The Close🥢🎉

Today, our amazing team of chefs and residents came together to make delicious homemade spring rolls for our Chinese New Year lunch! 🍤 It was such a fun and interactive experience, with everyone getting involved and enjoying each step of the process. The spring rolls turned out yummy, and were a hit with everyone!

We’re so grateful for the smiles, teamwork, and the joy this special day brought to our community. 🏮✨
