The Queen making her final journey through her beloved Royal Deeside.

We are very sad to hear the news of the death of her Majesty the Queen. We are very grateful for her hard work and dedication to the country and her love of Royal Deeside.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

No games day this year but you can watch online 😢

Sadly on 7th August 2021, the Green will not resound to the skirl of the pipes, the beat of the drums, the roar of the heavy athletes and tug o war teams, the twirls of the dancers in their beautiful Aboyne Dress, the enduring runners and athletes, the entertaining fiddle competition, the 'scream if you want to go faster' from the fairgrounds, the various different aromas from the food vans and the fantastic displays of the crafts and goods in the trade stands. The clansmen will not be there to welcome you into their tents to meet the Chiefs and learn about your family history.

This year for the second one in a row, we will be going Virtual.
