What a great week to be out and about across the UK with two local student groups. We were delighted to take our 33 seater mini-coach to the British Music Experience in Liverpool and our 70 seater up to Carding Mill Valley in Shropshire.

It was good to see the coach industry featured on BBC Breakfast last week to mark the 100th anniversary of the first long distance coach journey in February 1925. Royal Motorways is very proud of its brand heritage, and can also trace its roots back to the heady days of coach travel over a century ago and from Redditch too! It was great to see our coaches out and about in the Worcestershire countryside this week. We stopped off in the picturesque village of Broadway, and we are really looking forward to taking both our Daybreak and private hire passengers out and about again this year.

Our 2025 Daybreak programme is nearing completion, and includes several exciting new excursions - one of which is the Birmingham International Tattoo!

As this takes place in early February we want to ensure as many of our customers as possible are able to join our trip to the NEC to experience this spectacular event. This is one of the largest indoor tattoos in the UK, featuring international marching bands and ceremonial displays from around the world, and is a must-visit event of music, culture and military precision.

A huge congratulations to our office assistant, Emily, who not only celebrated the completion of her Commerce Apprenticeship but was also recognised as a finalist in the Personal Development award at the 2024 Annual Awards ceremony for the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association. This is a great achievement given some of the largest and well-established apprentice employers who were represented at last night's event held at Worcester Sixways.

Since Emily joined Royal Motorways as our very first apprentice, she has become a vital member of our team, and her award is testament to her hard work, commitment and dedication to great customer service. A big thank you also goes to our office manager, Kerry, for all the support and guidance she has given Emily since she joined the team. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists, and to our amazing Royal Motorways Office Team. 🎉 🙌

As we look forward to the festive season, we have three exciting Daybreaks lined up for November - two annual favourites and one brand new excursion.

The hugely popular Weston Carnival provides a fabulous evening of family entertainment with one of the most spectacular illuminated parades in the world, and all while raising money for local charitable causes. The first of our Christmas excursions takes us to Chatsworth, with a timed entry to the beautifully decorated house included in the price, and a wonderful Christmas market in the grounds. And finally join us on our first visit to London's famous Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and get the whole family in the Christmas spirit. Entry to the event is included in the Daybreak package:
