I’m doing the Beast Race tomorrow as part of Fiona’s Florescent Feils to help raise money for Friends of the Neuro Ward at ARI who massively helped my amazing friend Fiona after she was involved in a car accident over a decade ago. We have just had a cancellation for next weekend 24 August which just happens to be the weekend of the Lonach Highland Gathering. You can find us through Booking .com, Vrbo or book direct for a more competitive rate.

Every August, on the fourth Saturday, all roads lead to Lonach. Travel along them to Strathdon and enjoy a day that will linger long in the memory. A warm welcome awaits at the friendly gathering.

Would any of my FB friends like to buy a number to help raise money for Logan’s Fund (which is a Scottish based children’s charity which helps children with cancer and their families) as well as The Kids Oncology Dept. at ARI.?
It’s £10 per number and the prize* is a three night stay for up to 6 people at our holiday home which has a hot tub.

* cannot be used during the Christmas period.

My daughter’s school friend’s cousin Brooke has been battling cancer for the past five years. Her family have organised the event below to raise money for two local charities who have helped them through their journey. It would be lovely if we could help them raise a bit more.

My walk this afternoon with Poppy up the hill behind the house to Langgadlie Hill and then down through the mountain bike trails at Cushnie forest. Absolutely beautiful. So lucky to have this on our doorstep.
