So day 3 arrived at Tranwell Farm Campsite a small.Off grid..Quiet place which happily took all of us. Let's see how it goes.

Day 2 into 3 was spent at Beecraigs Country Park campsite . Which was clean tidy and well organised. Largish site but very spacious..highly recommend 👌

We.meandered down the coast passing through ebbs, and Berwick-upon-Tweed where we had a huge plate of fish and.chip

All unpacked and ready for Saturday night

We saw this recent post and wanted to comment. It Looks like the Red tops are trying stir up trouble and division.

Most folk up here are very welcoming to tourists, just the odd one or two who don't. We are very proud of this part of Scotland and nothing gives us greater pleasure than to see the excitement and joy a trip around the Highlands brings.

However , whenever you visit anywhere its good to be respectful of the area and the locals. Likewise there will always be the odd one or two who don't and so they should be called out.

Saw this article, and thought I have to comment. Increasingly there are some bigger and more cumbersome Motorhomes appearing along the route. Most of which have been driven here from far and wide. I believe this one was from Buckinghamshire.
You could argue that this was very unlucky and the family concerned were extremely lucky. But bringing such large vehicles onto the exposed roads and tracks across the highlands and Islands is asking for problems at the outset.
Anything longer than 6m is going to cause a problem on some of the narrow twisty parts of the NC500, so please think before coming to visit if you own or operate one of these wee beasties!

The rented vehicle rolled over several times with the family of four and two dogs still inside.
