We are very grateful to Ian & his team for all their efforts to try to get the Red squirrels back to the area from being so over-run with greys 🤞🏻🐿️

Grey squirrels are spreading to the north of England and wiping out the native red squirrels.

Calling all wildlife enthusiasts! We have 3 wildlife hides kitted out with seats and binoculars now available to use at Eslington in our private gardens. Available to guests staying in both properties. We have an extensive array of wildlife to watch here including 🦔 , 🦌 , 🦊 and many bird species as we are very close to the River Aln. We are also currently working with a local Red Squirrel group to encourage them back to the area 🤞🏻

Winter gives us some stunning sunrises which we love 🌅 but also storms 💨 which we don’t like so much! Looking forward to welcoming our first guests of 2024 next week!
