Do you know that Hexham has had three new shops and a café open recently? That's on top of the flurry of new traders that we welcomed in the lead up to Christmas 👌🏻

Northumberland Antique Centre launched on New Year's Day. It stocks over 30 sellers across 3,000 square feet and has been doing good business with over 1,200 items flying out of the door so far.

Snap Records on Hexham Market Place specializes in secondhand vinyl, CDs and tapes plus music memorabilia. The business has now expanded into a room at the rear to buy and sell HiFi systems and guitars.

The Garden coffee shop on Hallgate opened in mid-March and is already proving to be very popular. Now that the weather is warming up, the courtyard garden will be a big draw.

TRAM aka Travels of Amy M opened on St Mary’s Chare at the end of March. Designer Amy Moffat has been running the business successfully for 12 years online, but wanted a permanent base to use as a shop and studio.

It’s been announced that the Grace and Purpose lifestyle store will open at number 13 Battle Hill soon.

Since September 2023, Hexham has seen the opening of the Pretty Flamingo gift shop and Obscuria gifts and pottery studio on historic Market Street. Two new businesses also opened late last year on St Mary’s Chare: The Bureau of Dreams, from artist Rachel Hope, and French & Wilder, an interior design shop with Gallic flair👏

Due to a family emergency we've just had a cancellation for this weekend. Sleeps 8, welcomes up to 6 dogs. Anyone fancy coming for a last minute stay today until Sunday (late 12pm checkout included). Reduced price of £475 for the weekend.

Enclosed garden 5 foot fencing on one side, 4 foot stone wall on other side with wire fencing on top of the wall bringing it up to about 5 foot.
Back patio fully fenced and gated. Carpets and tiles downstairs. 4 huge bedrooms, ground floor bedroom and wet room. Family bathroom upstairs.

Access to a six acre paddock just 30 seconds across and up the road and a further paddock about 2 mins walk away. Walks from your doorstep in beautiful quiet North Pennines AONB country - perfect for reactive dogs, not many livestock and not many people around.
