⛰️ Celebrating the 60th anniversary Britain's first long distance trail, The Pennine Way, I'll set my compass North, from Edale, Derbyshire, traversing the 'Backbone of England'.

🥾 Across the wild moorlands, mountains, and fells of Northern England, to finish in Kirk Yetholm, Scotland, a 268 mile tour of The Pennine Way, performing 17 shows in 19 days. The tour encompasses the highest pub in Britain, a couple of churches, iconic pubs, music venues, a Roman Fort, and lots more of the unique and wonderful.

🧭 With a couple of sturdy boots, a trusty Ordnance Survey map, and a guitar on my back, this tour is a celebration of The Pennine Way, Britain's first, and world-renowned long-distance path.

🎒 I'll be joined by Right to Roam Kernow organiser Freddie Hodkin on the route who will form an integral part of the team, carrying some of the gear, photographer, and part of keeping each other's spirits high.

We've just released the last few tickets for our Santa trains this weekend. We may have a few walk on tickets available on the day but to be sure of a seat, pre booking is strongly advised. Tickets include a steam train ride, a visit from Santa, a hot drink and festive nibble to take on the train with you and of course a present for all childen aged 0-16.
The Crossing Cafe will be open and serving a festive menu, and a walk up into Alston town centre with its historic streets and indpendent shops is always worthwhile. So why not make it a Christmas day out? Parking is free too!
