Travel Man 48 hours in.... Trieste with Joe Lycett and Alan Davies

In the yesterday evenings Travel Man episode on Channel 4, Joe Lycett took Alan Davies to the captivating city of Trieste in Northern Italy.

Their adventure kicked off at an intriguing Hilton hotel, formerly the headquarters of an insurance company, it is an incredible looking building with unusual rooms and suites.

They explored Trieste which boasts the largest seafront square in Europe, became wind ambassadors at the Wind Museum (yes that's really a thing), enjoyed delicious looking local food and drinks in Prosecco, drank the STRONG coffees unique to the area, and even visited Slovenia's Lipica Stud Farm to witness the elegance of dancing horses.
