Set in a quiet hamlet overlooking the South Tyne valley this former byre and bastle house combines a modern style with historic features of the building. It has picturesque views of the stunning scenery of the North Pennines. The woodburning stove and ground source heat pump ensure that it is always cosy and welcoming especially after a day out on the fells or walking in the South Tyne valley. The

owners do their best to make sure that guests are comfortable and happy and feel welcome. We want it to be a home from home for you, your family and your pets. Lots of extras are included in the price; all fuel, towels and bedlinen, laundry liquids and powders, washing up liquid and tablets, handwashes in all bathrooms, enough loo rolls and kitchen roll for your stay. (A pet hate of ours is finding somewhere which doesn't provide enough and is miles from the shops)
When you arrive you willl find the fire already laid, home made biscuits, tea coffee and fresh milk so you can relax after your journey before unpacking the car. If you have children we provide activity packs, games, colouring books and pencils, high chair, travel cot and stair gate. When you bring your dog you willl find p**p bags, name tags, towels, floor and seat coverings, an indoor kennel if you require one, dog water bowl and a few biscuits for your dog on arrival too. Isaac's Byre is close to the Pennine Way, the C2C Cycle Route, Hadrian’s Wall, The Lake District and Northumbrian National Parks, Carlisle, Durham and Newcastle. Ground floor: 2 steps or ramp to living/dining room/kitchen with French doors. 1 double bedroom (6ft, can be twin). Bathroom with shower over bath. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with sloping ceilings and en-suite shower room with toilet, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet. Woodburner in living room inc.
