Yes we are called Puffin Cruises, but seeing any Puffins this time of year is quite a rare sight in our coastal waters as they migrate further out at sea for the winter months. Under fantastic weather today on our Grey Seal Cruise to Coquet Island we spotted a few juvenile Puffins around, notice the smaller dull colourless beak and smoky plumage, quite different to what we usually associate these colourful birds with. A young Puffin takes 3-5 years before its ready to touch land again and begin to breed.
