Another stunning Autumnal day and a visit to for lunch with a friend and a wander with the girls 🐾🐾
If you’ve not been before it’s well worth a visit, the food and service were excellent, very dog friendly and the girls enjoyed seeing the Alpacas 🦙 😊

A mere 10 minute walk from the Estate you’ll find one of many beautiful wild swimming spots here in the Lakes.
Scales Tarn Lodge hosted a small group of Ladies who had one mission to take the chilly dip in to Loughrigg Tarn.
After a chilly dip you can head back to a warm cosy lodge for a hot shower and even a sauna which is located a stones throw from Scales Tarn Lodge.

These ladies loved the location of the Estate and will definitely be returning for more swimming adventures.

I've heard from a little bird that the weatherman is predicting some dry weather and some sun early September....

Very happy to hear these guests enjoyed their stay. Complimentary use of the pool is a huge bonus to guests during their stay especially when the weather is somewhat wet!
