Earlier today, I visited a lovely lady to hand deliver the event details and entry wristbands for Wycombe ParaCon 2024. Her wonderful husband bought the tickets for her and her friend as a special treat. The husband and I conspired to make it something of a surprise!

Her reaction was what makes all of this worthwhile. We all have other s**t going on in our lives, but these moments where we can look to something we are passionate about and enjoy, that's the key. I felt somewhat humbled that an event I'm organising could put such a smile on a face.

You know, when I first got the idea for Wycombe ParaCon 2024, I was driving across country in Ireland. Dr. Ciarán O'Keeffe and I had talked at Day of the Unexplained - Lá an gan mhíniú. I hired a sweet Hyundai Tucson, a car of such quality, it took a little bit of getting used to, having driven an old banger for many years. I said, "You know what, I reckon a ParaCon would work well in Wycombe." Ciaran said, "Do it"

Here we are.. It was that simple..

I don't think I've banged on about Wycombe ParaCon 2024 for a couple of days.. You'll have to excuse me, I work more hours than ancient Egyptian forced labour, for less wages.. It's going to be a solid paranormal convention. I don't deal with any clubs, or associations that have fall outs.. It's just me, booking those I respect..

As of today, going big with the promotion for Wycombe ParaCon 2024! I hate doing that "tickets are limited" thing... But they actually are, the Uni only has so many chair!!!! We could maybe squeeze people in, but for an actual chair.... Best book soon!

We are pleased to announce a man of notable distinction for Wycombe ParaCon 2024; he has served as a Metropolitan Police Officer, contributed as an Elf (researcher/writer) on the BBC comedy panel game QI, authored various books, lectures in Criminology, and was the mastermind behind the popular Monster Trail in Hazlemere, Bucks in 2021.
