We are starting a new social event in St Michael's Church Hall, behind St Michael's Church, 70 Sycamore Road, Amersham, HP6 5DR, and we would love you to come along to help us make it a success. Entrance is FREE, although voluntary donations to St Michael's church are welcome (we do not get paid and are happy to give our time free to increase Modern Jive awareness in the community). It's starting this Sunday 26 January and will run from 2-5pm, including opportunities to socialise, Modern Jive workshop with experienced teachers and dance Modern Jive freestyle . We really hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you at this free event, especially as we expect some beginners to turn up and so it would be good if they see people who can already dance.
Free parking to the side of the hall and on the high street.

Since advertising our Sardinia Jive & Expressive holiday 10 days ago, we have received 43 bookings. The Early Bird £ 527 price available until 31/10/24, reduced to £ 477 if you are also booked or will be booked by 15/10/24 to our Jive & Expressive weekender in Bournemouth on 25-28 April, is proving popular.
If bookings continue at this rate, we’ll modify this offer at any time this if we receive 80 bookings, at which point the price previously due from 01/11/24, will apply. If you’re currently unable to book whilst assessing leave/else, please email us on [email protected] to be put on a 7 day waiting list and you’ll be counted with those already booked.

Having just recovered from our recent Modern Jive, Expressive and Blues weekend in Bournemouth, we wish to thank all who have sent to us lovely messages via email and posted wonderful comments about this event on our or their pages. We are grateful for this huge vote of confidence. A special thank you goes to all our teaching and dj staff for the splendid workshops and music. Well done to all those who dressed up for the Wild West theme night, to our judges and to those who won prizes. We also staged live music in both the MJ and the Expressive/Blues rooms, which had been well received by all, so a special thanks goes also to all who came to say how much they enjoyed listening or dancing to the live singing performances by Rebecca and Amberley.

So many of you have already re-booked for our next event in Bournemouth on 25 – 28 April 2025, if you have not yet done so and intend to book, please, please, please do not delay beyond the 5th of May, as the current bookings at 2023 promotional prices will end on 5th May. Beyond this date, the basic price will go up in order to bridge the price gap of the last two years. In your own interest, you are warmly invited to book now, see how to book in the flyer below.
