A 10-15 min walk to Porth Amlwch brings you to Skye's, where you can savour delish food. The smashed avocado & poached egg on toast, with a side of pancetta and a balsamic drizzle is highly recommended for a healthy lunch. It's dog-friendly too! Jaffa made sure he wasn't ignored. 🤣

Took a trip with Jaffa to the Amlwch Community Allotments, around 20 mins walk away.
With thanks to grants, it's been transformed into an accessible space for community activities, gardening and a small natural wildlife preserve, complete with boardwalks, a little woodland area and plenty of picnic tables. The bird hide and bug hotel was so cute! The effort that's gone into bringing this together is comendable.

Been a cold but beautiful day for a dog walk. Just a few minutes drive away is Porth Eilian, Llaneilian & Point Lynas. Pods of Risso's dolphins & porpoises are often seen here. Quite windy but spectacular scenery!

Whistlestop visit to take the decorations down. It's been a very crisp cold day with an icy wind 🥶🌬. The garden and bushes have taken a battering with the recent bad weather 🌳. Took a quick trip to Llefrith Nant Dairy for some milkshakes for Louis at Cemaes Bay and stopped at Bull Bay on the way back. You can see our estate from there! We have warmer weather to look forward to. Can't come quick enough! 😂

Last year's Storm Jocelyn pushed the fence forward and this year Storm Darragh pushed it back 🙈🌬. There's only so much a poor fence can take! Neil's busy braving the wind and rain repairing it. We need to make it secure for our guest pets, but wow, wouldn't it be lovely to not have to obscure the view! After all, we are in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. 🌳
