We’ve got a few dogs. Life is better with dogs.
Four boys.
An ageing spaniel, a rescue Dalmatian and old faithful Sparks, my number one black lab.
Oh, and the youngster, little Cork-it.
But four weeks ago, we took on another little female Labrador.
She’s two years old.
She’s already my right hand girl.

We had an amazing night at Y Marram last night. Ed celebrated his 50th birthday in the company of Rosemary Shrager.
What a special night.
This is promising to be the hot ticket on Anglesey.
Fantastic food, great company.

Can’t wait for our next visit.

How lucky do we feel this weekend? We’re watching some racing at Anglesey Circuit / Trac Môn, whizzing over to Cwmni Bwyd Môr Menai / The Menai Seafood Company for nibbles before an evening with Rosemary Shrager at Y Marram.
Not a bad way for Edward Hartley to spend a 50th birthday.

We love outdoor cooking.

Cooking over coals is a highlight of summer for us, though we’ve been known to fire up the outdoor ovens in months when the weather isn’t kind too.

So many delicious cheeses.

Rydym wedi cael rhai cawsiau newydd yn yr wythnos hon, i gyd o'r Swistir - Dau arddull mae pobol yn cyfarwydd a Gwarchodfa Gruyere ac Schlossberger, mae gan y ddau broffiliau blas Swistir nodweddiadol. Mae'r trydydd ychydig yn wahanol, mae Belper Knolle yn gaws caled iawn, yn hen gyda garlleg a phupur du, mae'n wych wedi'i gratio dros basta, mewn salad neu ar unrhyw beth i ddweud y gwir! Bydd y tri ar gael i'w samplu yn y siop dros y penwythnos yma.

We have had some new cheeses in this week, all from Switzerland - Two very recognisable styles, a Gruyere Reserve and Schlossberger, both have those characteristic Swiss flavour profiles. The third is a bit different, Belper Knolle is a very hard cheese, aged with garlic and black pepper, it is great grated over pasta, in salad or just about anything else to be honest! We'll have them all available to sample in the shop over the weekend.

Summer is finally here!

This lovely weather we've had over the past couple of days has brought the strawberries on nicely ☀️☀️ so our Pick Your Own is OPENING TOMORROW at 10am!! We have strawberries, gooseberries and broad beans, so come along for a great day out! 🍓🍓🍓

No booking needed - just turn up, we accept cash and card, and dogs are only allowed in the car park, sorry! 🐾
