👶Our family tickets are £22.80 and are available to any group of 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children, for the same performance.

🍿To book a family ticket on our website, just select four 'concessions' when selecting your seats. Our system will reprice this to the family ticket price.

(Children must be aged 15 or below and ticket cannot be split between 2 films.)

Congratulations !

Globe Inn Head Chef Fraser Cameron has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Roux Scholarship 2025, one of the UK’s top culinary competitions.

This exciting news follows a string of recent accolades for The Globe Inn under Cameron’s leadership, including being named Scotland’s Best Eating Experience by VisitScotland, Dumfries & Galloway Life Restaurant of the Year, and achieving a MICHELIN listing for 2025.

Cameron’s innovative recipe using gurnard, mussels, dulse seaweed, and parsnips impressed a panel of esteemed judges, securing his place in the regional finals. He will compete in the Birmingham heat on March 6th.

“I’m incredibly honoured and excited,” said Cameron. “This is a dream come true, especially after such a successful year for The Globe. I’m looking forward to the challenge and representing the restaurant on this prestigious platform.”

How absolutely wonderful !

Well I think we have just about recovered from Saturday night! 😆

It was our first Burns Supper hosted by the committee and I think we can all agree it was a huge success! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday and all your lovely comments, we hope you all had a wonderful night and this is the start of a village tradition for many years to come. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

There are so many people who helped make this event possible and we are so grateful for everyone’s support. 🥰

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿A huge thank you to Mary for cooking up a storm in the kitchen and all of her hard work throughout the night, the food was amazing and Mary did a wonderful job.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Thank you to Tracy, Vicky, Aila, Ruby and Laura who helped out in the kitchen, served the food and defeated the mountain of dishes!

With our new menu(s) comes new opening times and some other exciting changes!

Starting from the Thursday the 6th of February, our new opening times will be:

Monday - closed
Tuesday - closed
Wednesday - Saturday - open from 9am
Sunday - open from 12pm

This means...from Thursday 6th February we will be serving breakfast, lunch AND dinner! The three big ones! Heck YEAH!
